Dancing with Daddy

There is nothing better than this!

Where did she go?

Kenidee loves to climb in the closet and shut the doors so no one knows where she is.
She is so fun!

She threw something in the tub...

Tear Duct Surgery...

Kenidee had tear duct surgery this morning. She was so good during the whole thing and it was so quick. The doctor came back out after like 20 min and she did so good after that we were only at the hospital for like 3 hours. Here she is in her cute little hospital jammies and smiley face.
and, on the way home. She slpet the whole way home from primary's and slept for three hours after getting home. After her nap she has been so good. She acts just like normal, like nothing happened. However, she's not a fan of us having to wipe the drainage from her eye and nose so often.

Cutie Patootie!!

The Faith of a Child

In all the happenings of the week, we have had a couple of very busy days. I'm still in shock with the passing of my sister-in-law...but, everyone seems to be doing better day by day. Over that last few days I've had a lot of time to think about Annette, our Father in Heaven, Jesus Christ, and this great plan that we are a part of. I have come to realize how much I truly love Annette. We've had our differences, but I truly love her with my whole heart and know that she was my sister and forever will be. I am deeply saddened with her loss and will miss her so much, but I can only be happy for her because I know that she is happy and well. At the funeral service yesterday I could imagine her trying to cheer everybody up and trying to turn things into something more fun. In thinking about my Father in Heaven, I have a further knowledge about his love for us. He truly wouldn't make us do anything that he didn't think we could handle, and He gave us His Son so that things would be a little more tolerable, not easier! I feel Heavenly Father's love everyday, and hopefully I can share that love with others. The whole gist of this great plan we are in is that we can be with our families forever. Even though it was Annette's time to leave, she'll be there waiting when all of her loved ones get the chance to go home. It's through Jesus Christ that we can be with our families forever. He made it possible through His Atonement and Resurrection!

Through the hardness of it all, my nephews have been so cute. They get so excited to see pictures of their mom and they love talking about her. However, it breaks my heart when a knock at the door makes them ask if that's their mom coming to get them or when they ask if mommy is still sleeping. Josh isn't going to remember what's happened or much about his mom and Adam may only have a few memories, but Adam's faith is so strong. He has told us many times this week that his mommy is all better now. She's not sick anymore. Today as I was at my parent's house we were playing a game and my mom said something about her dad. Adam asked if that was Grandpa Adams. My mom said that it was. She told him that Grandpa Adams was in Heaven. Adam said that is where my mommy is. My mom asked him if he thought that his mom and grandpa were taking care of each other. He said that he thinks so. Mom asked what he thought they were doing. He answered that they were playing. She asked if he thought they were being missionaries. He said no I think they are going to church :)

It's through Adam's faith and innocence that I can continue to press forward in my own testimony and know that Heavenly Father truly holds all of us in his heart and knows what is best for us.

Has all of this really happened??

We never know when things are going to happen or why things happen...but how blessed we are to know that Heavenly Father has a plan for us and that He knows everything...if only we had a little glimpse of it...however, I don't believe we would continue forward if we had a glimpse of what would happen next...
On Saturday, these adorable boys lost thier mother. Adam and Josh are 4 and 2. They are the cutest little boys you will ever meet in your life. They are so full of energy and they bring so much joy to every one they are around. These boys are truly gifts from a Father in Heaven. As cousins, Kenidee adores them, she wants to be just like them and do everything they do. My heart is broken for them. They are so young, and don't know what's happening or understand that Mommy went to live with Jesus.
Annette was an incredible mom to her boys. They were always her number one and she loved them so much. She was a wonderful person and we will miss her. We love her very much and are so sad that her life ended so quickly and so soon. It is through the comfort of our Savior Jesus Christ that we know where Annette is, that she is happy, and that she will be with her boys forever!

i LOVE thursdays!!

Thursdays are the greatest day of the week! I don't work Wednesday night, so I get to sleep all night and get up early with Kenidee. Then I get to clean my house, which I love doing! Then when Kenidee lays down to take a nap after lunch, I get to take a nap too!! Then we play the rest of the night. Tonight, however, I have to study for a physiology test, but it's all good. Shadd has school tonight, so after dinner Kenidee and I made a treat that daddy can enjoy when he gets home...
When I turned a around she was sniching in the apples!
She thought she was so funny....she always does. She laughs at herself all day long!

She loved helping mix the topping for our apple crisp.

and then trying to mix the apples...

she loved helping mommy!

A little bragging...

I just need to brag a little bit. I have the greatest husband in the world! He does so many wonderful things for me and he works so hard. He has been great at taking care of Kenidee the last few months. He stayed with her tonight so I could go to the Relief Society meeting, and when I came home my entire house was cleaned. Not just cleaned, but he had scrubbed the kitchen and the bathroom! I couldn't ask for anything better. He is so wonderful!

"Jesus!"

This morning when Kenidee woke up the first thing she said, as she looked at this picture of Christ on her dresser, was "Jesus!" She was so excited. She kept saying it over and over. We then had to go get the picture so she could hold it and go show Jesus to Daddy. It was the cutest thing ever!
