It's Fall

The other night, after trying for over two hours to get Kenidee to take a nap, we went for a ride up the canyon to look at the leaves. It was so beautiful.

She finally fell asleep, I hope this doesn't mean that nap times are coming to an end...but, at least we got to enjoy the scenery.

One Month!

Our precious little Kailee is a month old already. Where does the time go? We've been busy the last month...I had to go back to school when she was only five days old, but I am enjoying my time off work. Shadd is working really hard to find a job and he started a new quarter of school tonight. Kenidee adores her little sister. She is the first one there trying to calm Kailee down when she starts crying, and she smothers her in kisses and "hi baby" all day long. We love our newest little girlie. She already has brought so much happiness to our family.

The two week stats...just a week late

At Kailee's two week appointment she weighed 9 lbs 5 oz. Everything checked out great. We have had to switch her formula due to diarrhea and puking, but she is doing much better on the different formula. She is such a good baby. She only cries when she is hungry or tired. She is sleeping pretty well. She has only been waking up once in the night. Occasionaly she decides she doesn't want to sleep, so despite an occasional sleepless night we are adjusting well to our beautiful baby girl.

What a helper...

Kenidee loves to help do anything in the kitchen, whether it's helping with the dishes or cooking something. This particular night we made spaghetti and garlic bread. While I was waiting to put the bread in the oven, all of the cheese mysteriously went missing from Kenidee's slice of bread :) She is such a great little girl. She can be bossy and mean, but all of her cuteness makes up for it.
