Kenidee...

She is the biggest Daddy's girl! She loves her daddy so much!
Kenidee's few Words:
Mommy
Daddy (also used for tigger and Jason!)
mama (grandma)
ish (fish)
do (thank you)
shoes
what's that
who's that

What a Stinker!

In the last couple of days she has learned that she can take off her diaper...we aren't trying to encourage it, but we need some pictures because it's so cute! Don't you love the hair?
Look at that bum!
Ah! Freedom!!

The Gardens at Thanksgiving Point

Last night we went to Thanksgiving point to take some family pictures. We had so much fun playing with Jason, Adam and Josh. Here are all of the fun pictures. We still need to get the other ones... Kenidee loved watching the waterfall.
They had fun running down the paths.

Our cutie pie!!
She loved the grass...

Kenidee loves playing with Adam and Josh she has to do everything they do.

Josh and Kenidee making secret plans :)

She is getting her posing down...

Adam

These two are hilarious! When we get the other pictures from Jason I'll have to put some cute ones of them on...
They loved playing in the water.

She would have stayed there for hours!

The Leg...Two Weeks Later

It's looking a little better, but all of the blood is now moving down to his foot and he has a cankle! His foot is pretty sore but overall he is doing good!

Shadd's Leg...

This was Shadd's leg last Tuesday...the night he fell off the scooter.
This is his leg tonight...8 days later. It is really nast and swollen. It was been hurting like crazy and not getting better so he went to the doctor this morning. The doctor said that it isn't bruised, but he popped some blood vessels and the blood is just pooling and gravity is pulling it down to his ankle...the red bump in the middle of the yellow spot is actually a pretty good sized blood clot. It's just in his muscle though, not in the blood vessel. Hopefully is will start to get better soon. Shadd says it hurts "like the dickens"...

What a helper!

Kenidee is so funny... She loves to be where ever I am and to be helping. She loves hanging out in the bathroom while I get ready. This morning she went into her room and got all these diapers...she was trying to stack them all on top of the toilet...when I went and got the camera she had put them all on the floor.
After taking the pictures she tried to line them all up on the edge of the bath tub...

While I was doing dishes she went to the pantry and got out some of the cans...she loves stacking and restacking the cans, but while I was loading the dishwasher she tried loading her cans into the dishwasher so that they could be washed :0)

She is so fun...It is so great to see her little mind in action!

Anniversary Day Fun!!

We had so much fun today... we started out by going to the animal farm at Thanksgiving Point for the month of August all of the venues are only $2 on Tuesday!! We had such a great time. Kenidee loved seeing all of the animals and being able to feed the cow. This little cow kept trying to eat her pants and the stroller (sad that we didn't get a picture of it)! She was so cute with all of the animals. She had the time of her life. Here are the cute little goats.

She loved the pony ride! She had a smile on her face the entire time and loved every second of it. She held on all by herself and she kept petting the pony and saying "soft". She was so cute on the pony!

We went and enjoyed some ice cream at the deli after a hot day in the sun...

After we finished at the farm we took Kenidee over to Grandma and Grandpa's where Emilee and Grandpa were the designated baby sitters! Thanks guys! We went out to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse. It was so yummy!! Then we went back over to Thanksgiving Point and walked through the gardens. It was such a fun little date. It was nice to spend time alone and even better to go back to Kenidee. We love that little girl so much we can hardly stand being away from her...

the fishies in the pond...they were kind of gross
just some pretty pictures...

the picture is kind of blurry, but it is the only one we have of the two of us...the one of just me was way to blurry so it didn't get put on. We forgot to take our camera with us to the gardens (it got left in the diaper bag) so all of these pictures are from our phones...

This is the largest man made waterfall in north america. It is pretty amazing!
Shadd always looking so serious :)

this was the italian garden...

the pretty little pond.

a cute little flower.
the gardens are so beautiful!
finally a smile!!
just a pretty stream...
So, you can't see it in this picture very well, but Shadd's left (the upper one) calf is very swollen and bruised...as we paid for our admission to get into the gardens we wanted to rent some segway scooters and ride them around the park. However, they only have four for the whole garden and two were broken and the other two had just been rented. Shadd was pretty bitter about the fact that we couldn't get them. We would occasionally see this couple riding around on them and Shadd would go off on how we should hijack them and take the scooters :0) In the middle of the garden somewhere we were just sitting on a bench and the couple with the scooters happened to drive right in front of us. The girl waved at us and then turned around to chat. It happened to be one of the sister missionaries that Shadd served with in Oregon. It was her and her husband that had rented them. Shadd talked her husband into letting him give it a little try. So, he was riding up and down the path, doing quite well and really enjoying himself. They started talking about how someone would crash on one because they were pretty basic. Shadd made the comment that basically you could only crash if you were goofing off...not even 10 seconds later...CRASH!! Shadd fell right off! It was truly the funniest thing I had ever seen! I couldn't quit laughing...I was concerned for his well being, but it was pretty hilarious...His leg got more and more sore as we were finishing our stroll through the gardens and when he got home and got undressed this is what we found...OUCH! The side of his calf is swollen to the size of a softball and very black and blue. The picture does no justice. I wish him a quick recovery :0)

We had a great day! It was so much fun to get to take Kenidee to the farm and then to go on a date just the two of us...
