notice the baby counter...

We are getting so close to welcoming our little girlie into our family. Only 9 more weeks! We are so excited. Everything with the pregnancy is going very well. Our only concern is that she might be a rather large baby. We went to the doctor this last week and as he measured me, he said I think you might be having a big baby... I measured 33 weeks instead of 30, which I really was. But, what can you do. We'll take her no matter what size she is. I had a few weeks off of school and was able to go through the baby clothes and get things washed. I forgot how many cute things we had and I am now so excited to see her in all the outfits and headbands!!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a lot of fun over Memorial Day Weekend. It was so nice to be able to spend time together as a family and not have to worry about work or school. We left on Saturday afternoon as Shadd finished up his finals (he got amazing grades by the way). Our first destination was Cedar City, a mere three hours away... our journey started off quite eventful. First, it took us an hour to get to Payson, which is only about 20 minutes from our house. There was a not so pleasant looking car accident that made the traffic go a bit on the slow side. Once we finally got on our way and were having a pretty decent drive when a friendly little cop decided to pull us over, I say friendly, because it woke Kenidee up from her much needed nap. We were then again on our way and had been going for about 20 minutes when a red truck with flames painted on the sides cut us off and ran us off the road, not just a little swerve of the car, but clear down into the median. After all the excitement, we eventually made it to our hotel in Cedar and were able to enjoy our weekend. We spent Saturday and Sunday with family and doing reunion activities. We had a lot of fun visiting and just hanging out. On Monday morning, we decided that instead of just heading home we would drive to Vegas, since we were just a few short hours away. We had a lot of fun in the heat and seeing all of the cool little things. Kenidee didn't want her picture taken...
The Statue of Liberty is completely made out of Jelly Beans!

I love this picture. She is so stylin' in her shades!!

these guys had a huge snake that Shadd was excited about. Kenidee didn't want to touch it. She is my kind of girl :)

At the Mirage they have dolphins, tigers, lions, and some other animals. Here are the dolphins...

she was having so much fun watching all of the animals.

a panther

some crazies...

the dolphins again

our last stop before heading home was the M&M factory. Kenidee loved the M&Ms. She kept wanting to dance with them and touch them. She was laughing the whole time we were watching them. We then began the long drive home and made it there without any excitement. We had a great time. It was nice to just relax and actually see each other for long periods of time, rather than on our way in and out the door.

So behind...

So, since Kenidee's birthday was a couple of posts ago, here are some pictures of her opening her presents...

We didn't take very many pictures, but she loved opening all of the presents and cards!
