Middle of the night awakenings...

When we lay Kenidee down for a nap in her bed she is obsessed with propping her pillow up against the head board and saying, "I just going to rest." She then will sit there and play with her friends (stuffed toys). Last night when I put her down for bed she propped her pillow up and said, "Mom, I just going to rest." This is always so funny to me, especially last night because she usually only dose this in the day and is more than happy to go to sleep at night. So at 4:00 this morning I was awoken to be told "Mom, I fell asleep while I was resting..." I didn't really know how to respond to that. I helped her back to bed and while she was climbing in she propped her pillow up and was happy to inform me that she was only going to rest...HaHa, I didn't see her until it was time to get up just before 7:00. She is such a silly little girl. I love seeing how her mind works!

Tangled!

Last night the girls and I had a movie night while Daddy was at school. We love Tangled. Kenidee was so funny while we were watching it. She made me wrap Kailee's car seat canopy around her head so she looked like she had long hair, she brushed my hair throughout most of the movie and kept calling my Rapunzel, and anytime I called her Kenidee she said, "No you Rapunzel and I the mudder". I love, love these girls!

KeNiDee!!

Our beautiful little girl will be 3 in a month and a half. She is growing up so quickly. She talks all day long, and always says the funniest things. Over the weekend she became potty trained and is doing so well. She makes friends with everybody, and doesn't mind our early mornings because she gets to go play with her "kids" (how she refers to her friends). For the most part, she is still 2 and throws some pretty good tantrums. She adores her sister and if Kailee is in the room, Kenidee doesn't care about anybody else but Kailee. Every morning she asks to hold her sister, then say "Oh, she is heavy". Apparently it is more comfortable to sleep with your legs inside your pillow case rather than with your pillow underneath your head...

7 Months!

Our sweet baby is seven months old...She gets more and more fun every day. She sits like a champ, finally loves tummy time (and we can't keep her off...), she loves to sleep on her belly, she has the cutest giggle, is one of the happiest babies I have ever met, and loves all flavors of baby food, cheerios, and biter biscuits! She is starting to try and get up on her knees and will probably be crawling before we know it.

She is not liking our early morning...we leave our house at 7am every morning. Sorry Baby, only three more months!!

When she finally looks at the camera she won't smile, but it's ok cause I just want to eat those cheeks!

BaTh TiME...

The girlies love bath time and would stay in there all night if I would let them. They are turning out to be the best of friends!
