Kailee is 6 months old! Really, slow down child...with how crazy the last year was I can't believe she has been in our family for 6 months already.
At her 6 month check-up she was 16 lbs 11 oz and 25 inches tall. Her head was in the 98th percentile and the doctor warned Kenidee not to get into any head butting with her little sister. This girl is solid. We went to the doctor about four weeks ago as illness was rampaging through our house and she weighed 15 lbs 11 oz, so in two and a half weeks she had gained a whole pound!
She drinks anywhere between 6-8 oz every two hours, loves baby food, and is starting to experience the world of cheerios.
She sleeps on average about 12-13 hours every night, and would sleep until 10 every morning if Kenidee didn't think she needed to wake her up.
She is finally starting to roll over to get what she wants, but most often she doesn't have to because Kenidee will roll her over.
She is getting really good at sitting up on her own and loves to watch everything going on around her.
She laughs at Kenidee all day long and gets so excited to see her big sister. I am so excited to watch them grow up together.
She loves babbling and blowing spit bubbles.
Her fists are still intact, but she still loves to chew on her hands. Just for fun I tried to give her a binki the other day (my kids will not take binkis), she sucked on it for a few sucks and then spat it clear across the room and gave me this look as if to say "what were you thinking"...
